Live Music and Performances at Minneapolis–Saint Paul Airport

Passing through Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) on Aug. 26? Enjoy live music during your travels: avant‑guard vibraphonist Steve Roehm and The Neighborhood Trio perform from 1–3 p.m. in Lindbergh Terminal 1.

The trio features Roehm alongside Dan Schwartz on lap steel and guitar and Josh Schwalbach on upright bass. Roehm is also known for his work with The New Standards. This performance is presented through MSP’s Arts and Culture program and supported by the Airport Foundation MSP.

The Neighborhood Trio’s set blends originals and well‑chosen covers, creating a mellow, uplifting atmosphere that suits busy transit environments. Their arrangements emphasize warm melodies and subtle interplay, offering a welcome moment of calm for travelers between flights.

“I think it’s a perfect fit for a weary traveler,” Roehm says, highlighting how live music can improve the airport experience for passengers and staff alike.

Looking ahead, MSP’s seasonal programming continues with the Holiday Music Series, running Nov. 28 through Dec. 23. Expect more curated performances throughout the terminals as part of the airport’s ongoing commitment to arts and culture.
