JetBlue Airways will begin new nonstop service from Worcester Regional Airport (ORH) in Massachusetts to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale on November 7. The airline will operate one daily round-trip flight to Orlando (MCO) and one daily round-trip flight to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) using 100-seat Embraer 190 aircraft. Located about 50 miles west of Boston, Worcester becomes JetBlue’s 80th destination.
JetBlue CEO Dave Barger highlighted the strong local support for the new service, noting the warm reception from the Worcester community. He emphasized that adding Worcester to JetBlue’s expanding network reflects the airline’s commitment to serving travelers in New England and expressed optimism about a lasting relationship with the city and further growth in the region.
The new nonstop options will give travelers from central Massachusetts a convenient alternative to larger area airports for trips to popular Florida destinations. The Embraer 190 jets used on the routes offer a single-aisle cabin with 100 seats, enabling daily, reliable connections for both leisure and business passengers traveling to Orlando’s attractions and to Fort Lauderdale’s beaches and business centers.
By introducing service at Worcester Regional Airport, JetBlue increases regional connectivity and provides passengers with more choices for direct flights to Florida. The airline’s decision to serve Worcester underscores growing demand for point-to-point flights from smaller, regional airports and supports local economic and tourism activity by making travel more accessible for residents and visitors alike.
Passengers planning to use the new Worcester routes should check JetBlue’s schedules for exact departure and arrival times and for any seasonal changes. As with all new service launches, travelers are encouraged to review baggage policies and seat options in advance to ensure a smooth travel experience on the Embraer 190 aircraft.
