InterContinental Dhaka Marks IHG’s Return to Bangladesh Market

InterContinental Dhaka has opened in a prominent location, providing guests with convenient access to major landmarks and the downtown business district.

The hotel offers 226 contemporary guestrooms, including 25 suites. Guests staying in Club InterContinental rooms enjoy access to the Club Lounge, which features exclusive dining options and dedicated social spaces. For events and meetings, the property offers more than 21,000 square feet of flexible function space, comprising two ballrooms and seven meeting rooms.

Public amenities are designed for relaxation and well-being. A heated swimming pool overlooks Ramna Park, and there is a fully equipped fitness center, steam room, sauna and spa. Dining choices include an all-day restaurant, a specialty dining venue, a café and a pool bar, providing a range of options for casual meals and special occasions.

InterContinental Dhaka is part of IHG’s broader Southwest Asia development pipeline. The company has more than 50 hotels planned for the region to complement the 32 properties already in operation, reflecting ongoing expansion across key cities and brands.
