Hong Kong Airlines Adds New Direct Routes to Australia

Last month, Hong Kong Airlines launched a direct service to Australia. The new route operates three times a week, flying from Hong Kong to the Gold Coast, continuing to Cairns, and then returning to Hong Kong. Flights are scheduled on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

“We are pleased with the successful introduction of this new Australian route. Since tickets went on sale, demand has been strong and we have seen an encouraging response from travelers,” said Li Dianchun, Commercial Director of Hong Kong Airlines. “We expect Australia to become a popular choice for our passengers who want to experience the pleasant climate, beautiful beaches and range of activities available on the Gold Coast and in Cairns. This route will also help strengthen cultural, tourism and business connections between the two destinations.”

Hong Kong Airlines’ network currently serves 30 major cities across the Asia‑Pacific region, offering a variety of regional connections and travel options for both leisure and business passengers.
