Hilton Unveils Rebranding of Loews Madison Hotel

The Loews Madison Hotel has been rebranded and is now part of the Hilton family as the Madison Washington D.C., a Hilton Hotel. This historic downtown property becomes the third Hilton-branded hotel in the city and brings with it a rich legacy of notable guests, from entertainers like Frank Sinatra to global figures such as the Dalai Lama, and many U.S. presidents since John F. Kennedy.

Located in the heart of Washington, D.C., the hotel features 365 guest rooms and 27 suites, offering a blend of classic elegance and modern comfort. Hilton has announced plans to invest in and enhance the guest experience while preserving the hotel’s historic character and architectural details.

Shawn McAteer, vice president of global brand management for Hilton Hotels & Resorts, said the brand is pleased to add the property to its portfolio. He emphasized how the hotel strengthens Hilton’s presence in the nation’s capital and will appeal to travelers seeking a refined downtown base with easy access to the city’s cultural and civic centers.

The Madison Washington D.C. sits within comfortable walking distance of many of the city’s museums, monuments and government institutions, making it an ideal option for both leisure and business visitors. The property offers more than 12,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, equipped with modern amenities for conferences, receptions and events.

Business travelers will appreciate the 24-hour business center and technologically equipped meeting rooms. Guests can also enjoy several on-site food and beverage options, including a lobby bar, restaurant and lounge that provide settings for casual meals, cocktails and informal meetings. For relaxation and wellness, the hotel’s fitness center offers downtown views and steam room facilities to complement workout routines.

To mark the transition into the Hilton portfolio, Hilton Honors members receive a welcome promotion at the property: 1,000 bonus points per night when staying at the Madison Washington D.C., a Hilton Hotel, through March 20. This offer adds extra value for loyalty members planning visits during the promotional period.

By combining a storied past with contemporary upgrades and Hilton’s service standards, the Madison Washington D.C., a Hilton Hotel, aims to serve as a distinguished option for visitors who want historic charm alongside modern conveniences in the nation’s capital.
