Hilton Unveils Major New York Development Plan for 2026

Hilton is introducing a new level of luxury to New York by converting The London NYC into the Conrad New York Midtown. Following a 2019 refresh, the property’s rebranding work began this month and is expected to take a little more than a year to complete.

The 562-room hotel will undergo upgrades across all guestrooms, corridors, public spaces and elevators. Plans include an upscale restaurant, a spacious modern fitness center and nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting space. Suites will average more than 500 square feet and showcase dramatic views of the New York City skyline.

“The Hilton luxury brand flagships are fortunate to call New York City home, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to expand our footprint in Manhattan with our second Conrad property. The London NYC represents a modern interpretation of luxury at an unrivaled address in one of the world’s most dynamic cities. We are committed to redefine the midtown hospitality experience and deliver a world of style and smart luxury for today’s traveler,” said John Vanderslice, global head of Conrad Hotels & Resorts.

Prior to the official rebrand, guests who are Hilton Honors members will continue to earn points and miles for stays at The London NYC. Additionally, London NYC guests will have access to the Conrad Concierge via the Hilton Honors mobile app.

Hilton is offering a limited-time promotion through Dec. 31 for travel through March 31: book a London Suite and receive a complimentary one-level upgrade plus 1,000 bonus Hilton Honors points per night.
