Hilton Worldwide has completed a major rebrand and refurbishment at its Edinburgh Airport property. The former Hilton Edinburgh Airport has been relaunched as DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport following a £2.5 million upgrade that modernises guest rooms, dining and event spaces.
Now operating as DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport, the hotel features 150 fully refurbished guest rooms designed for comfort and convenience. Food and beverage offerings have been refreshed with the introduction of Space Restaurant, and leisure amenities include the Living Well leisure club. The hotel also accommodates business and events with 22 flexible meeting rooms.
Situated on Eastfield Road, the hotel is conveniently located about five minutes from Edinburgh Airport’s terminal building. Guests benefit from a complimentary 24-hour shuttle service between the hotel and the terminal, making it a practical choice for both early departures and late arrivals.
Hilton’s rebranding activity in the UK has included other properties as well. The company recently converted its Swindon hotel to the DoubleTree brand following a comprehensive investment and renovation programme. That 171-room hotel offers a range of dining and event facilities including the Twelve Brasserie restaurant, 15 meeting rooms and a ballroom with a capacity for 350 guests, alongside a newly renovated fitness centre.
These conversions and upgrades form part of DoubleTree’s expansion across the UK, bringing the brand’s total number of properties in the country to 32. The rebranded hotels aim to combine DoubleTree’s signature service with updated facilities to better serve business travellers, families and event organisers.
