Hilton Lake Como Opens Winter Garden with Seasonal Menu Update

Hilton Lake Como has introduced a refined winter culinary experience at its rooftop restaurant and bar, Terrazza 241. Executive chef Alessandro Ramella designed the seasonal menu to harmonize with the rooftop garden and the restaurant’s 360-degree panoramic views of Lake Como and the surrounding landscape. Since opening in 2018, the hotel has become known for its striking scenery, fine dining and luxury accommodations.

Terrazza 241 focuses on classic Italian recipes given contemporary interpretations and prepared using seasonal ingredients to highlight authentic flavors. New menu highlights include Raviolone Carbonaro, a puff pastry disc filled with ricotta, spinach, egg and guanciale Romano, served atop a creamy Parmesan base. Another standout is a duck breast dish paired with blackberries, chestnuts, a touch of chocolate sauce, currants and turnip greens, offering a balanced and surprising combination of sweet, savory and bitter notes.

The rooftop garden and menu were conceived to celebrate the winter season while keeping the sweeping views front and center. Built in collaboration with the Privitera Eventi technical team, the garden uses sustainable materials and incorporates lighting by designer Adriana Lohnmann. Colorful lights trace the lake’s shoreline from the terrace, creating an atmospheric setting suited to intimate dinners and special occasions. Evenings at Terrazza 241 are enhanced by live music, adding to the venue’s warm and inviting ambiance.

Beyond the culinary plates, rooftop manager Vincenzo Sulmona has introduced inventive culinary cocktails that blur the line between drink and dessert. One of these creations, The Sphere, is a chocolate shell filled with a hazelnut parfait and a coffee digestive—designed to be sipped and then enjoyed as a bite. Another signature beverage, The Shape, marries citrus notes with rum for a bright, refreshing cocktail that complements the winter menu.

Terrazza 241’s winter offerings combine seasonal produce, thoughtful presentations and a scenic setting to create a memorable dining experience on Lake Como.
