El Al Debuts Curated Art Installation at Newark Liberty Airport

EL AL Israel Airlines has enhanced its premium passenger experience at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) with a new curated installation titled Good Morning Midnight. Situated adjacent to the EL AL check-in counters, the airline’s Art & Lounge at Newark blends contemporary design with Israeli cultural influences, offering a refined space where travelers can relax and engage with rotating art and video exhibitions.

The Good Morning Midnight installation features works by MaDora Frey, Ai Campbell and Jonathan Cowan, along with video art by Israeli artist Chen Serfaty. The pieces are created with organic materials and explore natural forms abstracted from everyday life. The exhibition emphasizes textures, shapes and tones drawn from nature, inviting visitors to reflect and unwind in a calm, thoughtfully curated environment.

Designed as part gallery and part premium lounge, the Art & Lounge underscores EL AL’s commitment to offering a distinctive, culturally rich experience for its premium customers. The space provides comfortable seating and a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to prepare for departure or to take a moment between connections while enjoying contemporary Israeli art.

EL AL operates flights to 35 destinations from Israel. The carrier offers the most non-stop services between New York area airports (JFK and EWR) and Tel Aviv, and maintains the only direct route between Los Angeles (LAX) and Israel. The airline’s network and its attention to onboard and airport amenities reflect its focus on serving both leisure and business travelers with greater convenience and cultural engagement.

The addition of Good Morning Midnight at Newark is part of a broader trend among airlines to enhance airport facilities with curated art and thoughtfully designed lounges. By integrating art into transit spaces, EL AL aims to create a memorable, human-centered experience that complements its flight services and connects passengers to Israeli creativity before they even board.
