Delta Vacations Adds New Domestic Destinations for 2024 Travelers

Delta Vacations has expanded its offerings by adding six new domestic destinations: Asheville, North Carolina; Aspen, Colorado; Panama City, Florida; Oakland, California; Lexington, Kentucky; and Fairbanks, Alaska. Packages and curated experiences for these locations are now available for travelers to book.

Delta Vacations bundles Delta Air Lines flights with a variety of accommodations and travel services, giving customers a convenient way to plan trips. Options range from boutique hotels and local inns to full-service resorts, and can include car rentals and other travel essentials. By packaging these elements together, Delta Vacations aims to offer competitive pricing and a simplified booking experience.

“Domestic travel has been growing in popularity among our customers,” said Elizabeth Moriarty, vice president of product development at Delta Vacations. She noted that shorter trips enable travelers to make the most of their time off, reaching distinctive destinations that are only a short flight away. The newly added cities reflect that trend, offering a mix of outdoor recreation, cultural attractions, and seasonal experiences.

Asheville attracts visitors with its vibrant arts scene, farm-to-table dining and easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Aspen is known for world-class skiing, upscale dining and mountain recreation year-round. Panama City offers Gulf Coast beaches and family-friendly activities, while Oakland provides urban experiences, diverse dining and a gateway to nearby regional attractions. Lexington brings a rich equestrian and bourbon heritage, and Fairbanks offers northern lights viewing and unique Arctic adventures.

With this expansion, Delta Vacations now sells packages to more than 300 destinations worldwide. The broader portfolio gives travelers more choices for planning leisure getaways, weekend escapes and extended vacations, all backed by Delta’s network and the convenience of booking flights and lodging together.

Travelers interested in these new destinations can explore available packages, compare accommodation types and customize add-ons such as car rentals or activity bookings through Delta Vacations’ booking platform.
