Delta Air Lines has announced new nonstop service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to two of its largest European hubs: Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol.
The Los Angeles–Paris route will operate three times per week year-round, while the Los Angeles–Amsterdam flight will operate four times weekly. These additions create nonstop links from LAX to both Paris and Amsterdam and connect Delta’s U.S. hub network more directly with its major European partners.
Passengers traveling on these routes can easily connect onward across Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa and Asia through Delta’s partner network, including Air France, KLM, Alitalia and Jet Airways. The expanded schedule increases seamless international connections for customers originating in Southern California.
“The start of our new Los Angeles nonstop services to both Paris and Amsterdam offers our customers even more nonstop choice on Delta to its key European hubs,” said Dwight James, senior vice president at Delta, highlighting the carrier’s focus on improving transatlantic connectivity.
These new nonstop flights also reinforce Delta’s long-term investment in Los Angeles. The airline is investing $1.86 billion to modernize and better connect Terminals 2, 3 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal, enhancing the travel experience for the more than 170 daily Delta departures from LAX.
