Delta Implements Ban on Animal Trophies: What Hunters Need to Know

After public outrage over the high-profile killing of Cecil the Lion, Delta Air Lines took steps that won praise from animal advocates by prohibiting the transport of certain animal trophies as cargo on all flights. The ban applies worldwide and specifically covers trophies from lions, leopards, elephants, rhinoceroses and buffalo. Delta is also reassessing its policies for other hunting trophies, coordinating with relevant government authorities and conservation organizations to ensure shipments comply with legal and ethical standards.
