“We look forward to welcoming our New York originating and connecting guests at our new JFK facility at Terminal 7,” said Christian Schmitt, chief operations officer and accountable manager for Condor Airlines. “New York is one of our primary U.S. gateways with year-round, nonstop service to our Frankfurt hub. We are excited to make our presence at JFK more inviting and user-friendly for our guests and to simplify connections with our partner airlines.”
By joining partner carrier Alaska Airlines in Terminal 7, Condor positions itself closer to another U.S. partner, JetBlue, which plans to open a new Terminal 6 in 2025. These co-locations strengthen Condor’s connectivity across the United States through its Frankfurt (FRA) hub and partnerships with both airlines. Nonstop flights from JFK to Frankfurt operate four times weekly—Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday—with daily service beginning in May.

JFK Millennium Partners recently took over management of Terminal 7 as part of a $4.2 billion, five-year development initiative at JFK. The terminal refurbishment includes improved seating areas, a children’s play space and other guest-focused upgrades. Later this year, Condor plans to introduce its Airbus A330neo on the JFK route and will provide complimentary access to an updated business-class lounge, Lounge @T7, for eligible passengers.
The move to Terminal 7 is aimed at improving the travel experience for Condor’s customers—both those starting their journeys in New York and those making connections. The closer proximity to U.S. partner airlines is intended to reduce connection times and make transfers more convenient. With the expanded schedule to Frankfurt and the forthcoming daily service, Condor reinforces its commitment to reliable transatlantic options that link the New York area with Condor’s European hub.
Terminal 7’s ongoing upgrades are expected to enhance passenger amenities and streamline airport flows. For travelers, the combination of upgraded facilities, expanded flight frequency and lounge access represents a tangible improvement in comfort and convenience. Condor’s relocation aligns with broader investments at JFK designed to modernize terminals and improve the overall passenger experience across the airport.
Passengers flying with Condor from JFK can look forward to new boarding facilities, enhanced lounge services for premium customers and smoother connections to domestic U.S. destinations via partner airlines. As service increases and the Airbus A330neo enters the route, Condor’s presence at Terminal 7 will be more prominent, offering travelers additional choices for transatlantic travel between New York and Frankfurt.
