Celebrate Andy Warhol’s Birthday at Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art

Andy Warhol’s idea of “15 minutes of fame” endures more than 25 years after his death in 1987. The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art in Las Vegas is honoring Warhol’s legacy with special admission pricing to mark what would have been the artist’s 85th birthday on August 6.

On August 6, the gallery offers reduced admission from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and from August 7–12 the special price applies from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can see the BGFA’s Warhol Out West exhibition for $8.50 during these times, and each ticket includes a BGFA souvenir. Regular admission is $16, with a discounted rate of $13 for Nevada residents.

Presented in partnership with The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Warhol Out West focuses on the artist’s interpretations of Western themes. The exhibition brings together 56 works across multiple media — paintings, sculptures, photographs, screen prints and wallpaper — and features Warhol’s signature 1960s pop artworks that portray celebrities and consumer products alongside pieces reflecting Western imagery.

The show offers both longtime Warhol fans and new audiences the chance to see how his pop aesthetic engages with American Western culture. Highlights include vivid screen prints and portraits that emphasize color, repetition and the commercial visual language Warhol helped define.

In addition to the artworks themselves, the exhibition’s curatorial framing emphasizes Warhol’s influence on contemporary art and popular culture, exploring how his techniques and subjects blurred the lines between high art and mass media. Visitors will find examples of Warhol’s photographic work and experimental approaches to printmaking that illustrate his ongoing interest in celebrity, commerce and regional iconography.

Whether you’re in Las Vegas for the weekend or a local resident, the special birthday admission offers a budget-friendly way to experience a major retrospective of one of the 20th century’s most influential artists. The BGFA’s partnership with the Andy Warhol Museum ensures a selection of works that represent key moments in Warhol’s career while highlighting a thematic connection to the American West.

For those planning a visit, consider arriving during the specified time windows to take advantage of the reduced ticket price and pick up the included BGFA keepsake. The exhibition runs beyond the birthday promotion, but the special hours provide a memorable occasion to celebrate Warhol’s artistic impact.
