Brussels Airlines has unveiled the newest addition to its “Belgian Icons” fleet: the Amare aircraft, inspired by Belgium’s internationally renowned Tomorrowland music festival.
This Airbus A320 features a vivid, airbrushed design across the fuselage depicting a colorful bird, accompanied by the slogan, “Brussels Airlines — We Fly You to the Home of Tomorrowland.” The exterior artwork was created over two weeks by a team of eight artists who applied the design directly to the aircraft’s body.
Tomorrowland, held in the town of Boom in northern Belgium, attracts music fans from around the world. In the previous year, Brussels Airlines transported more than 10,000 passengers to the festival on 108 dedicated flights. The airline says the name Amare reflects values of unity, love and friendship, and the special-liveried aircraft will remain in service for five years.
Inside the cabin, the Amare plane offers themed features to enhance the passenger experience: mood lighting tailored to create an atmospheric boarding environment and the “Tomorrowland Hymn” by Hans Zimmer played as guests board.
Amare is the fourth design released as part of Brussels Airlines’ “Belgian Icons” series, which highlights cultural and national touchpoints through distinctive aircraft liveries.
