Biltmore Estate Launches Immersive Evening Experiences in 2026

The iconic and historic Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, has announced a new evening series set to debut in spring 2026. Called Luminere, the experience will transform the estate’s grounds after dark with immersive light, imagery and sound. This marks the first time in the Biltmore’s 130-year history that such nighttime programming will be offered.

Developed in collaboration with design studio Klip Collection, Luminere will reimagine the façade of Biltmore House and its gardens as a dreamscape of color, motion and storytelling. Distinct areas of the estate are included in the experience, such as Biltmore House, the Italian Garden, the Pergola, the Shrub Garden, the Walled Garden, a treescape zone and the Conservatory.

The program is designed to evolve with the seasons, drawing on the estate’s architecture, landscapes and storied past for thematic inspiration. An original musical score by composer Julian Grefe will accompany the visual display, performed with the Asheville Symphony and incorporating selected recordings made inside Biltmore House.

In addition to the visual and musical elements, the series will feature enhanced culinary offerings. Visitors can enjoy artisan picnics on the grounds, craft beverages served in garden settings and curated menus available in estate restaurants to complement the evening program.

Luminere will run March through October 2026. Tickets become available beginning Nov. 12. To mark the announcement, Biltmore is offering a limited promotion through Oct. 16: guests who purchase a Biltmore ticket for a qualifying visit during the Fall or Christmas season will receive one complimentary Luminere voucher, and buyers of a new Annual Pass will receive two complimentary Luminere vouchers.

This new series represents a significant expansion of visitor programming at Biltmore, offering a fresh way to experience the estate’s historic architecture, gardens and cultural legacy after dusk while emphasizing seasonal variation, live musical collaboration and thoughtful food and beverage options.
