Marriott International will introduce its independent luxury hotel brand, the Autograph Collection, to the United Kingdom this spring with two new properties: Threadneedles in London and The Glasshouse in Edinburgh, Scotland. Threadneedles, the Square Mile’s original luxury boutique hotel, offers 74 guestrooms and sits in London’s financial district close to the Bank of England and St. Paul’s Cathedral. The Glasshouse, located at the foot of Calton Hill in central Edinburgh, features 65 guestrooms along with a two-acre landscaped garden that can be used for events. The Glasshouse is currently undergoing renovations and is expected to join the Autograph Collection in June. The Autograph Collection comprises more than 40 upscale hotels across Europe, the United States, South America and the Caribbean, each positioned within curated categories of travel experience such as Culinary Delight, Artistic Getaway, Historic Exploration and Sporting Adventure.
