As of last week, Aruba has reopened to American travelers, a welcome development for fans of One Happy Island. Before booking, review the island’s Traveler Health Requirements to ensure a smooth trip.
With more than 95 percent of 2020 weddings postponed to later this year or to 2021, the Aruba Tourism Authority introduced the Happily Ever After Guarantee to support couples facing repeated disruptions. This flexible destination-wedding policy is designed for couples planning — or replanning — a 2021 wedding or honeymoon who remain concerned about COVID-19 and travel uncertainties.

Under this plan, couples and their guests who book weddings or honeymoons at participating Aruba hotels and resorts can postpone and reschedule at any time, provided they give at least 30 days’ notice before the event. The policy offers valuable flexibility for destination weddings, allowing couples to protect their plans without losing their reservation benefits.
The Happily Ever After Guarantee applies at a number of Aruba properties, including The Ritz-Carlton Aruba, Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino, Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort, Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort, Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort and Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort, among others.
For a complete list of participating properties and the policy details, see the official information provided by the Aruba Tourism Authority.
