Aloft, the contemporary hotel brand for tech-savvy travelers, has expanded its New York City presence with a new property in the Financial District. Located on Ann Street within easy walking distance of the New York Stock Exchange, City Hall, One World Trade Center and numerous corporate headquarters, Aloft Manhattan Downtown – Financial District features 125 loft-style rooms, a lively social atmosphere and a lineup of music-driven programming tailored for today’s guests. The hotel joins Aloft Harlem and Aloft New York Brooklyn as the brand’s third location in the city.
“Aloft Manhattan Downtown – Financial District represents the brand’s debut in lower Manhattan and adds a fresh option to this rapidly evolving neighborhood with contemporary design, forward-looking technology and live music offerings — all at accessible rates,” said Brian McGuinness, global brand leader, specialty select brands, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. “As we approach the 100th hotel milestone worldwide, we’re on track to double the Aloft portfolio in New York City by 2018.”
Aloft remains one of the fastest-growing brands in the hospitality sector, operating 100 hotels across 15 countries. Recent openings such as Aloft Munich and Aloft South Beach reflect the brand’s focus on key global markets. With a continued rollout planned, Aloft is scheduled to open several additional hotels through the remainder of the year, further expanding its presence in major destinations.
