Alaska Airlines is celebrating San Francisco’s Bay Area Bike to Work Day on May 9 with a Bike for Miles giveaway.
The first 500 Mileage Plan members in the Bay Area who post a photo of themselves on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook tagging @AlaskaAir along with #BikeforAlaskaMiles and #BTWD2019 will automatically receive 5,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles. That amount is sufficient for a one-way award flight.
“As the presenting sponsor of Bay Area Bike to Work Day, Alaska Airlines is committed to offering affordable, sustainable and convenient travel options,” said Annabel Chang, vice president, Bay Area, Alaska Airlines. “We’re pleased to reward the first 500 Mileage Plan members who participate by giving them enough miles for a free one-way flight between select cities, such as San Francisco to San Diego. With our Mileage Plan program, members can access 38 non-stop award travel destinations from the Bay Area.”
In addition, Alaska Airlines provides GoBike and Mileage Plan members the opportunity to earn 10 Alaska Airlines miles each time they ride.
