Air France is enhancing comfort for business-class travelers through a new partnership with Sofitel, part of the Accor hotel group. Starting in July, Sofitel’s MY BED bedding collection will supply custom mattress pads for every long‑haul business-class seat, offering an improved rest experience on board.

“We are delighted to join forces with the expertise of Sofitel MY BED, an exceptional partner, to continue making business cabin travel a true haven of well-being in the sky,” said Fabien Pelous, SVP customer experience, Air France. “The introduction of a new mattress pad will further enhance the comfort offered on board, ensuring even more restful nights before arrival at destination, as well as greater relaxation during daytime flights.”
The mattress pad has been specifically developed for Air France’s business-class cabins. Each pad will be placed on the seat prior to boarding and can be unrolled to provide cushioning in any seat position. Designed to fit across the airline’s various long‑haul aircraft, the pad is safe for use during all flight phases, including takeoff and landing. Passengers will continue to receive a pillow, blanket and slippers at their seat, with the mattress pad adding an extra layer of comfort.

Air France states that this Sofitel mattress pad will be introduced progressively and will be available on all long‑haul flights by the end of 2025, regardless of departure time or flight duration. The rollout aims to standardize the sleep experience in business class and improve passenger well‑being on overnight and daytime long‑haul services.
This collaboration reflects a broader trend among airlines to partner with premium hospitality brands to elevate onboard amenities. By bringing a hotel-style bedding solution into the cabin, Air France and Sofitel seek to offer a more consistent and restful travel experience for business travelers who value sleep quality and overall comfort during long journeys.
