Hotel Supetar, set between the historic town of Cavtat, Croatia, and the Adriatic Sea, has reopened following a complete renovation. Reimagined as an intimate boutique retreat, the hotel reflects a collaboration between Croatian design studio STUDIO LACROMA and designer Katarina Alamat Kusijanovic, who transformed the property with a fresh contemporary vision.

Housed in a restored 1920s three-story private villa, Hotel Supetar offers 16 spacious, individually designed rooms infused with Mediterranean character. Each room blends stylish furnishings and refined textiles that nod to the local history while embracing contemporary design. Thoughtful wallpaper accents enliven the interiors. Guests can choose rooms with garden or sea views, all located just steps from the waterfront promenade. Bathrooms are finished with marble details and gold accents for an elegant touch.
The hotel’s restaurant combines authentic local flavors with classic techniques, placing an emphasis on seafood, seasonal produce and ingredients sourced from nearby growers — including oranges from the hotel’s own garden. Signature dishes include swordfish carpaccio dressed in a lime-and-orange emulsion; a creamy vegetable soup served with a poached shrimp tail, dark bread croutons and olive oil; and a 24-day-aged “Maturo” beef fillet served with Konavle potato blinis, glazed carrot and asparagus, demi-glace and truffle slices. Desserts highlight regional traditions, such as local cream caramel and flan.

Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner indoors with views of the poolside oasis through floor-to-ceiling windows, or dine on the romantic alfresco terrace. Wine enthusiasts are invited to the new Wine Bar, where a curated selection of local and international wines is available. The bar features comfortable loungers, contemporary seating and an emerald-tiled counter. The wine list showcases top Croatian varietals, with particular attention to Dubrovacka Malvasija from the nearby Konavle region, and the Wine Bar hosts Croatian wine tastings for guests wishing to explore regional vintages.

Beyond the renovated rooms and refreshed dining venues, Hotel Supetar offers a newly landscaped garden and a light-filled infinity-edge pool.
