Kimpton Hotels has enhanced its loyalty program with a new “Raid the Bar” amenity that offers members a convenient credit toward drinks. Kimpton InTouch members now receive a $10 credit per visit (increased to $15 in New York City) to spend on a craft cocktail or other beverage at participating adjacent Kimpton bars.
This benefit expands Kimpton’s existing “Raid the Mini Bar” feature, which provides InTouch members a $10 credit for in-room minibar purchases. Members may choose to apply their credit either to items from the in-room minibar or to purchases at participating Kimpton restaurants and bars nationwide, giving guests more flexibility in how they use their perks.
Established in 2004, the Kimpton InTouch loyalty program includes a range of member-focused amenities designed to enhance the hotel stay. Benefits include complimentary WiFi at all properties, the Raid the Bar credit usable in minibar or restaurant bars, special hotel and dining offers, in-room spa credits, complimentary nights after repeated stays, a choice of daily newspaper, and personalized room preferences to help tailor each visit.
The Raid the Bar addition reflects Kimpton’s ongoing focus on elevating the guest experience through thoughtful, practical rewards. By allowing members to apply a modest credit toward beverages at on-site bars, the program encourages guests to enjoy local craft cocktails and bar offerings without feeling pressure to overspend. The higher credit in New York City acknowledges the city’s higher price levels and helps maintain the value of the benefit for members visiting that market.
Members who frequently stay at Kimpton properties can combine their credits and perks across stays, taking advantage of both in-room and on-property dining options. The flexibility to use credits at bars or minibars means guests can tailor the benefit to their preferences—whether they prefer a nightcap in their room, a cocktail at the hotel bar, or a drink with a meal at an on-site restaurant.
Kimpton continues to differentiate its loyalty program by focusing on personalized service and small, meaningful touches that improve each stay. From free WiFi and spa credits to personalized room setups and exclusive offers, the InTouch program aims to reward regular guests while providing tangible benefits during every visit.
