The Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, has relaunched its Urban Bourbon Trail Chef Series, inviting bourbon enthusiasts and food lovers to experience creative southern cooking infused with bourbon flavors. The program presents a rotating lineup of talented chefs who collaborate with the hotel’s culinary team to craft exclusive, limited-time dishes showcased at the on-site Swizzle Dinner & Drinks restaurant.

Each guest chef partners with The Galt House culinary team to produce a signature bourbon-inspired plate available for a short run. The current quarter began with Dallas-based chef and restaurateur Kent Rathbun, who designed a dish featuring Rosewood Ranches steak, a premium Texas wagyu, finished with a Dr. Pepper glaze and served alongside fire-roasted bourbon cream corn. The combination delivers a balanced sweet-and-savory profile. Rathbun’s creation is on the Swizzle menu through Jan. 31.
Following Rathbun, Chicago chef and Oriole owner Noah Sandoval will introduce his bourbon-forward dish in February 2023. Indianapolis chef Abbi Merris is scheduled to present her offering in spring 2023. Additional chefs and their seasonal bourbon dishes will be announced periodically as the series continues.
