Corinthia London has announced a collaboration with Chef Francesco Mazzei to open a new Italian restaurant at the hotel, scheduled to open in summer 2025. The restaurant will replace the current Northall location and occupies a prominent corner site in Westminster, featuring high ceilings and large windows that create a bright, welcoming dining space.

“I am so happy to be able to create a restaurant with Francesco and the team here at the hotel, which will be for Londoners and hotel guests alike. Francesco’s personality and his spectacular Italian food will be irresistible for sure,” said Thomas Kochs, managing director, Corinthia London.
Born in Calabria, Francesco Mazzei began his culinary journey in his uncle’s gelateria, where he learned to make Italian cakes and gelato from a young age. Over the years he has built a diverse résumé that includes roles in five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Most recently, he worked at the Corinthia Palace in Malta.
Mazzei described the new venture as a long-awaited opportunity. “Since my last ventures in London, I had been searching for the right opportunity, so when the prospect to open here at Corinthia London presented itself, I was delighted. It is the perfect location for me to showcase the most beautiful, classic Italian cooking that I am so excited to share. I am also thrilled to be in great company, working alongside the hotel’s other partners, Tom Kerridge and Salvatore Calabrese.”
The upcoming restaurant aims to blend classic Italian techniques with seasonal, high-quality ingredients, offering dishes that reflect Mazzei’s roots and professional experience. With its central Westminster location and elegant dining room, the venue is positioned to attract both local diners and visitors to the hotel. The partnership signals Corinthia London’s continued focus on enhancing its culinary offerings through collaborations with celebrated chefs.
Further details about the menu and reservation arrangements are expected to be announced closer to the summer 2025 opening, with the hotel and Chef Mazzei outlining plans that emphasize authentic Italian flavours, thoughtful presentation and an inviting atmosphere for everyday dining and special occasions alike.
