Delta Opens Redesigned Sky Club Lounge at Atlanta Airport

Late last month, Delta Air Lines unveiled its second-largest Sky Club: a 500-seat, 30,000-square-foot lounge at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Situated near the center of Concourse B—the busiest concourse in Delta’s network—the new space is designed to serve a large and diverse mix of travelers.

The Atlanta Sky Club is second in size only to Delta’s flagship lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Reflecting its Southern location, the lounge incorporates local and regional elements, from menu items sourced within the state to craft beers from Georgia breweries and artwork supplied by Atlanta galleries. The modern interior showcases tiered ceilings and expansive windows that offer views of downtown Atlanta. A curated “wine wall,” overseen by sommelier Andrea Robinson, adds a refined touch for guests who prefer wine pairings and tastings.

“This is our flagship lounge at Hartsfield-Jackson, the flagship airport in America and the world,” said Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian during the opening ceremony, where President Glen Hauenstein cut the ribbon. “It’s a true oasis for customers. To be able to have this refuge for them is truly phenomenal.”

Marc Ferguson, Delta’s general manager of Sky Club Experience, emphasized the lounge’s flexibility and focus on guest needs. “This club is in the busiest concourse in the busiest airport in the world,” Ferguson said. “It can create whatever experience guests are looking for. If they want to power up, we have plugs and charging stations. If they want to be productive, there are spaces for meetings and focused solo work. If they prefer to refresh, our bar and seating areas support socializing and relaxing with food and drink.”

Designed for both convenience and comfort, the Atlanta Sky Club aims to streamline the preflight experience by combining ample seating, modern amenities, and a regional aesthetic. Whether travelers seek quiet work areas, quick recharging, or a place to unwind before a flight, the new lounge offers a variety of settings to meet those needs while highlighting Atlanta’s culinary and cultural offerings.
