Etihad Airways has reopened its newly refurbished first- and business-class lounge in Terminal 1 at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Occupying 11,238 square feet, the lounge accommodates up to 134 guests and reflects design elements inspired by Etihad’s updated branding, offering a contemporary and inviting atmosphere.
“This upgraded lounge embodies the contemporary design, attention to detail and customer focus synonymous with Etihad Airways,” said Shane O’Hare, senior vice president of marketing at Etihad Airways. “Our guests traveling from and transiting through Abu Dhabi Terminal 3, and now Terminal 1, will start their journey with a superior lounge experience in a stylish and well-equipped environment where they can relax and re-charge.”
Open 24 hours a day, the Terminal 1 Premium Lounge provides a wide range of amenities to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers. Comfortable seating areas and a dedicated dining space create relaxed environments for rest and work. The lounge also offers modern business facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, USB power outlets, private bathrooms with shower suites, and a supervised playroom for children.
The on-site Six Senses Spa has been fully refurbished. Lounge guests can enjoy a complimentary 15-minute spa session before boarding, and additional treatments are available by appointment. Dining options include restaurant-style service, an extensive buffet, and a selection of beverages designed to suit diverse tastes.
The Terminal 1 Premium Lounge is accessible to Etihad Airways’ first- and business-class passengers, qualifying Platinum Etihad Guest members, and equivalent-tier loyalty program members from Etihad partner airlines departing from Abu Dhabi.
