Late next year, Denver’s RiNo neighborhood will welcome its first hotel, the boutique Ramble Hotel. This three-story property will feature 50 guestrooms, a theater and bar, meeting and retail spaces, a courtyard, a restaurant and a Death & Co bar. The Death & Co location marks the brand’s first outpost beyond New York, bringing a reputation for inventive cocktails and hospitality-driven beverage programs. Death & Co will also operate the beverage room service, a café bar, a reservation-only private bar and the courtyard food and beverage program.
Gravitas Development Group is developing the hotel and intends the property to reflect the company’s permanent presence in the RiNo neighborhood. “The neighborhood is fertile ground for artists and creative entrepreneurs, and we hope to create a space where travelers and locals can personally experience the art, authenticity and ambition that make RiNo so great,” said Ryan Diggins, partner at Gravitas Development Group. “This project is about believing in a vision, taking risks and challenging the conventional hospitality model. Remaining independently branded and managed provides the best chance to evolve at the speed of Denver. We place a high value on flexibility and autonomy, and believe it gives the Ramble Hotel the best opportunity to remain culturally relevant at opening and in the years that follow.”
The building’s exterior will be striking, combining masonry and metalwork to create a distinctive street presence. Inside, the 4,700-square-foot lobby will feature 20-foot ceilings and varied seating areas, anchored by two Death & Co bars. Public spaces are intentionally designed to encourage interaction and engagement, drawing inspiration from 17th-century French salons to foster lively conversation and communal gatherings.
Rooms and public amenities aim to balance thoughtful design with local character. The hotel’s smaller scale supports a boutique experience focused on curated services—intimate dining, attentive beverage programs and flexible meeting spaces—while offering visitors convenient access to RiNo’s creative energy, galleries and eateries. The addition of a theater and meeting space will also provide options for events, performances and community programming, further integrating the hotel into the neighborhood fabric.
With an emphasis on independent ownership and management, the Ramble Hotel seeks to remain adaptable as Denver’s cultural landscape shifts. That autonomy is intended to allow the property to respond quickly to trends and community needs, helping the hotel stay relevant to both visitors and residents. The partnership with Death & Co brings an experienced beverage operator to the project, enhancing the hotel’s appeal for cocktail enthusiasts and hospitality-minded guests.
Overall, the Ramble Hotel aims to serve as a creative hub in RiNo—an inviting destination that showcases local talent, thoughtful design and distinctive food and beverage offerings while maintaining the flexibility to grow with the neighborhood.
