DFW Airport Unveils New Summer Programs to Enhance Traveler Experience

To support a record-setting summer travel season, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is rolling out a range of customer-focused programs and amenities as it prepares to serve more than 18 million travelers.

“With 2015 shaping up to be our busiest summer ever, it is essential that we deliver the dependable, customer-focused travel experience people expect at DFW,” said Sean Donohue, CEO of DFW Airport. “We look forward to celebrating our customers this summer and showcasing the new services and conveniences designed with them in mind.”

Through Aug. 31, travelers can take advantage of discounted parking: seven days of Express Parking for $55 at either of DFW’s two Express Parking locations on the north and south ends of the airport. Express Parking offers conveniences such as 24-hour trunk-to-terminal shuttle service, luggage assistance, complimentary bottled water and newspapers, TollTag access for automated entry and exit, and more than 7,000 available parking spaces.

New this season is the Sunny Service Days program, which deploys dedicated customer engagement teams across terminals to respond to traveler questions and feedback while spreading summer cheer. DFW invites passengers to share their experiences on social media using the hashtag #DFWSummer.

Passengers will also find several new shops and restaurants opening this summer. In Terminal A, additions include TUMI (Gate A18), XpresSpa (Gate A25), Swarovski (Gate A24), La Madeleine (Gate A25) and Brookstone (Gate A25). In Terminal B, new options include Artizan Fashions (Gate B28), Soybu (Gate B28) and the Belgian Beer Cafe (Gate B32).

Additional passenger amenities now available throughout the terminals include free high-speed WiFi, improved cellular coverage, 28 teller machines, and numerous free charging stations and power outlets to help travelers stay connected and charged while on the go.
