Lotte Hotels Opens Fifth Property: What Guests Can Expect

Lotte Hotel has opened Lotte Hotel Hanoi, its fifth overseas property, in Hanoi, Vietnam, on Sept. 2.

Positioned to set a new standard in hospitality, Lotte Hotel Hanoi combines the expertise and service standards of the Lotte brand. The hotel occupies floors 34 to 64 of Lotte Center Hanoi, a 65-story skyscraper with five underground levels in the heart of the city. Its central location places guests within easy reach of major attractions like Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter and traditional markets, as well as the Korean, Japanese and Australian embassies. The hotel is convenient for both leisure and business travelers, located about 40 minutes from Noi Bai International Airport and approximately 10 minutes by car from the central train station.

The exterior of Lotte Center Hanoi is inspired by the áo dài, Vietnam’s national costume. Ambient lighting in the facade enhances the building’s appearance, showing changing colors and visual depth from different viewpoints.

As a five-star property, Lotte Hotel Hanoi offers 318 guest rooms and suites, multiple dining and leisure options, and comprehensive event facilities. Guests can choose among four restaurants, two bars and lounges, a bakery, three banquet halls, the Evian SPA, an outdoor swimming pool, a Club Lounge and a fully equipped fitness center.

All rooms provide spectacular views of the city and draw on traditional Vietnamese motifs in their design. International design firms Wilson & Associates and HBA collaborated on the interiors to create a refined, culturally resonant aesthetic.

The hotel’s dining lineup includes Tim Ho Wan, the first Hong Kong dim sum restaurant to earn a Michelin star, located on the 36th floor and offering its acclaimed dim sum selection. The authentic Chinese restaurant Red River spans the 36th and 37th floors. Grill 63, a live grill restaurant, occupies the 63rd floor, while the rooftop venue Top of Hanoi sits on the 65th floor with panoramic city views. For evening drinks and cocktails, Pharaoh’s Bar & Upper on the 63rd and 64th floors and The Lounge Sky on the 38th floor provide elevated settings and skyline vistas.

The Evian SPA draws inspiration from the natural purity of the Alps and delivers treatments using mineral-rich products to promote relaxation and rejuvenation. The fitness center supports guests seeking wellness and exercise, while the outdoor pool offers leisure and scenic outlooks over the city. The hotel’s banquet facilities can host up to 1,200 guests and are equipped with modern audiovisual systems, making them suitable for large international conferences, corporate events and weddings.
