Vue New Orleans: Discover the City’s Newest Waterfront Attraction

Next time you point your compass toward the Big Easy, reserve time for Vue Orleans, a new cultural destination in New Orleans. Housed at the base of Canal Street in the renovated Four Seasons building, Vue Orleans blends observatory views with interactive exhibits. The attraction features touchless, technology-driven displays that highlight some of the city’s most influential figures, from Irma Thomas — the Soul Queen of New Orleans — to the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

“For years we’ve been gathering stories from local historians, artists, musicians and community members with the goal of curating a state-of-the-art cultural experience that shares the real story of New Orleans — what it was, what it is, and what it means,” said Paul Flower, developer of Vue Orleans. “Vue Orleans offers a fresh perspective on one of the world’s most historic and beloved cities, and we are proud to reveal this unique experience.”

At Vue Orleans, visitors can earn a pilot pin by virtually guiding a riverboat through the swirling currents of the Mississippi River, offering an engaging way to learn about the river’s role in the city’s life. An immersive elevator experience transports guests through three centuries of New Orleans history, and a digital outfitter lets visitors mix and match period costumes, then save a souvenir photo. A curated soundtrack leads guests through the city’s musical evolution, underscoring the role of jazz, R&B and other local sounds.
