Faena Hotel Miami Beach Debuts: Luxury South Beach Destination

New oceanfront Faena Hotel Miami Beach opened last month. The 169-room property features suites and private balconies, with many offering views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, or the Miami skyline. Each floor is served by a dedicated Faena Butler who acts as a single point of contact for personalized service. The hotel’s refined Art Deco design evokes the spirit of 1950s Miami Beach while presenting contemporary luxury.

Dining options include restaurants from Argentine chef Francis Mallmann and James Beard Award winner Paul Qui. Mallmann’s Los Fuegos delivers a modern interpretation of traditional Argentine asados, emphasizing grilled and roasted meats prepared in an open-fire kitchen. Qui’s Pao, his first restaurant outside Texas, showcases inventive Asian-inspired cuisine and a menu focused on bold flavors and precise technique.

Wellness and leisure are central to the hotel experience. A 22,000-square-foot Tierra Santa Healing House spa occupies the entire first floor, combining South American healing traditions, indigenous ingredients, and contemporary wellness technologies. The property also houses a 150-seat theater staging live performances and cultural programming.

Faena Hotel Miami Beach anchors the new Faena District, a six-block neighborhood along Collins Avenue centered on art and culture. The district includes a Rem Koolhaas/OMA–designed cultural center, residential towers, a beachside guesthouse, retail spaces, and a marina, all intended to create a dynamic, walkable destination that blends hospitality, art, and community.
