King David Wine Bar Boosts Jerusalem Nightlife Scene

Always a top choice for luxury accommodations and attentive service, The King David Hotel in Jerusalem has opened a new wine bar. An extension of the hotel’s Oriental Bar in the lobby, the wine bar showcases an extensive selection of wines produced exclusively in Israel’s acclaimed wine regions.

The curated wine list features 65 carefully selected labels, the result of a collaboration between the hotel’s sommelier and beverage manager, Daniel Gidey, and international wine consultant and sommelier, Gal Zohar. Guests can arrange guided tasting sessions or build custom tasting flights from a rotating menu that is refreshed every two months.

To complement the wine program, Executive Chef David Biton presents a menu of refined hors d’oeuvres. Offerings include baked za’atar focaccia, house-smoked salmon, and a thoughtful cheese selection combining quality domestic and international varieties, designed to pair well with the wines on offer.

The King David Jerusalem Hotel is conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from the historic Old City, making it an ideal base for exploring Jerusalem’s cultural and historical sites while enjoying upscale dining and wine experiences on-site.
