Several notable dining spots have opened, expanding the island’s culinary offerings. Lionfish and Mangoes presents creative lionfish preparations, from tartare to quesadillas, while BKLYN, Curaçao’s first gastropub, pairs lively atmosphere and cocktails with playful fare like jackfruit bao buns.

Ceviche 91 introduced the island’s first Blue Curaçao Ceviche, showcasing local seafood alongside the region’s iconic liqueur. For lovers of Italian cuisine, Serafina offers handmade pasta, and OBaAR Brazilian Lounge brings South American flavors to the island’s dining scene.
For a hands-on culinary adventure, Vittle Art conducts cooking workshops where participants forage for local and wild ingredients and learn to prepare traditional dishes from scratch—an engaging way to connect with Curaçao’s food culture.

On the conservation front, the PROTEUS initiative, led by ocean conservationist Fabian Cousteau, is developing an underwater research center aimed at advancing ocean science and mapping seafloor habitats starting in Curaçao.
