SLS Hotels & Residences makes its European debut this winter on Spain’s Mediterranean coast in Barcelona, where a mild climate keeps winter temperatures pleasant. SLS Barcelona opens in the waterfront Port Fòrum district, a large marina area about 15 minutes from the city center.
The hotel’s architecture features a striking undulating façade that echoes the motion of the Mediterranean waves. The property offers 471 rooms and suites, six distinct dining and bar venues, three pools, a wellness center, extensive event facilities and a grand ballroom.

Since the opening of the first SLS property in Beverly Hills in 2008, the brand has established itself in luxury hospitality with bold interiors and attentive guest service. SLS Barcelona is the result of creative collaboration among AIME Studios, AvroKO and Rockwell Group, combining functionality with theatrical design elements. Regular SLS visitors will recognize signature touches throughout the hotel, from a light-studded entrance hall to richly textured fabrics and thoughtful embellishments.

SLS Barcelona introduces six new culinary and nightlife concepts to Port Fòrum. An all-day restaurant centers on a large wood oven and coal-fired grill with a menu highlighting Mediterranean fish and seafood, paired with an informal tapas bar suited to both locals and visitors. On the hotel rooftop, a day-to-night pool bar and club occupies one of Barcelona’s largest waterfront terraces. The food and beverage program is completed by an elegant lobby bar and a separate pool bar, creating a lively, exclusive atmosphere.
Event spaces at SLS Barcelona are designed to impress. The ballroom spans nearly 8,600 square feet and is flooded with natural light from oversized windows and custom skylights. An events lobby connects to eight flexible private rooms, making the hotel well equipped for meetings, weddings and social gatherings.

Leisure amenities include three pools surrounded by chic cabanas and lounges, plus a modern wellness center with a fully equipped gym. A dedicated spa is scheduled to open alongside the wellness facilities.
