Customizable in-room dining and bold flavors inspired by the Lone Star State are now featured at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas.
The updated in-room menu highlights popular Texas favorites such as Texas grapefruit brûlée, chilaquiles with smoked short rib hash, elk-sausage corn dogs served with Dr Pepper barbecue sauce, and classic Texas pecan pie.
Guests can also design their own entrees. For burgers, diners choose from a selection of meats, cheeses, vegetables, condiments and vegetarian options to build a personalized sandwich. Pasta lovers can mix and match proteins, sauces, cheeses, pasta shapes and toppings to create a custom dish tailored to their tastes.
“We highly value the input of guests who choose to dine in their rooms,” said Chris Southwick, executive chef and director of food and beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. “These guests exemplify a growing trend toward customization and local appeal in in-room dining.”
