SkyTeam Introduces New Two-Stop Ticket Option for Flexible Travel

Global airline alliance SkyTeam has introduced a new two-stop option to its collection of round-the-world passes.

This two-stop pass is designed for frequent travelers who need multi-destination itineraries—such as business travelers who might have an important meeting in one country one day and a presentation in another country later the same week. It provides a flexible solution that can be tailored to budget, destination, travel purpose and convenience. Travel must begin and end in the same country.

The pass can be booked up to seven days before departure and is valid on any of SkyTeam’s 20 member carriers. It is available in economy, business and first class across the alliance’s network of 1,062 destinations in 177 countries. SkyTeam offers a sample itinerary that starts in New York, continues to Paris, then to Shanghai, and returns to New York, with an economy fare example starting at $5,650.

The new two-stop option expands SkyTeam’s Go Round the World Pass, which already provides itineraries ranging from two to 15 stops. The alliance has also announced plans to open its first branded airport lounge in North America, scheduled to launch by the end of 2017 at Vancouver International Airport.
