2015 marks Lufthansa’s 50th year of operations between Frankfurt (FRA) and both Boston (BOS) and Philadelphia (PHL). What began in 1965 as twice-weekly service on a Boeing 720B Intercontinental has grown into daily nonstop flights between Frankfurt and Philadelphia, daily service from Boston to Munich (MUC), and twice-daily departures to Frankfurt.
At Boston’s Logan International Airport, premium customers can enjoy Lufthansa’s Senator and Business Class lounges. Passengers departing from Philadelphia can access the United Lounge in Terminal D when eligible through Lufthansa’s Star Alliance partnership, including business-class travelers and frequent flyers with qualifying status.
