Hyatt Ziva Cancun is scheduled to reopen to guests in late 2015 following a comprehensive multi-million dollar renovation. Previously operating as Dreams Cancun, the resort is being transformed into a Hyatt Ziva property with refreshed public spaces, upgraded guest rooms and enhanced amenities designed for leisure travelers, couples and families.
The beachfront resort will offer 379 suites, each thoughtfully updated to maximize ocean views and include spa-style bathrooms and modern finishes. Guests can choose from a variety of accommodations aimed at comfort and relaxation, with many suites overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
Dining options at the resort will expand to 12 distinct venues, featuring a mix of casual and specialty restaurants along with bars strategically placed around the property. The dining program is designed to provide diverse culinary experiences without leaving the resort.
Outdoor amenities will include lagoon-style pools with swim-up bars and dedicated pool areas to suit both families and adults seeking a quieter atmosphere. Wellness facilities include a 24-hour fitness center equipped with contemporary exercise equipment and a full-service spa offering treatments designed to complement the coastal setting.
The resort also targets the meetings and events market with approximately 11,000 square feet of flexible event space. This inventory includes a primary ballroom and multiple outdoor event venues, allowing planners to stage weddings, conferences and social gatherings with ocean views and resort services.
Hyatt Ziva Cancun will join the Hyatt Ziva brand family as the fourth property in the portfolio, alongside Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall Jamaica and Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta. The addition reinforces Hyatt’s investment in upscale, all-inclusive beachfront resorts across key leisure destinations.
With its renovated accommodations, expanded dining and leisure facilities, and sizable event space, Hyatt Ziva Cancun aims to attract both vacationers seeking a full-service all-inclusive experience and event planners looking for a coastal setting with modern amenities.
