Sixt, the international car rental company, operates roughly 2,000 locations across more than 100 countries and is continuing its U.S. expansion. Last month the company opened a new corporate headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
At a ribbon‑cutting ceremony at the new headquarters, Sixt SE Global CEO Erich Sixt outlined the company’s strategy to deliver high‑quality service to American customers. The CEO’s remarks were published on Sixt’s official YouTube channel.
The new Florida facility cost $10.4 million to develop and is expected to generate approximately 300 jobs over five years. The average annual salary for employees at the site is projected to be $52,938. The headquarters spans 128,750 square feet, offers 188 parking spaces and includes landscaped green areas within the Spectrum Business Park, located across from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
This opening is part of Sixt’s broader U.S. growth plan. Earlier this year the company announced additional locations in San Diego and San Antonio, reflecting continued investment in expanding its American footprint and improving customer access to rental services.
With the new corporate office, Sixt aims to strengthen operations, support local hiring, and enhance service delivery throughout its expanding U.S. network.
