At nearly 30,000 square feet, United Airlines’ newest United Club now welcomes travelers at Newark Liberty International Airport with modern design, expanded amenities, enhanced culinary offerings, locally sourced art and furniture, and views of the Manhattan skyline. The lounge is located in Terminal C3, near Gate C123, and offers a quiet place to relax before your flight.

At nearly 500 seats, this United Club is the largest in the airline’s network and provides dedicated areas for lounging, working, dining and socializing. The lounge includes six spa-like shower suites stocked with Sunday Riley products, plus a barista-staffed, full-service coffee bar. Guests also enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks throughout the space.
The design blends sustainability with a contemporary aesthetic and establishes a template for future United Club openings and renovations. Locally sourced furniture and décor complement panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, while features such as self-scan entry, complimentary high-speed WiFi, WaterSense-rated fixtures, enhanced indoor air quality and green cleaning reflect the airline’s sustainability commitments.
“As more and more customers return to the skies, United is committed to delivering a superior customer experience on and off the plane, especially in increasingly crowded airports,” said Aaron McMillan, managing director of hospitality & planning at United Airlines. “Our new Newark United Club location is carefully designed with the customer at the forefront and includes thoughtful touches like murals and décor that reflect the local community. This design theme and commitment to creating a locally inspired experience will set the precedent for future United Club openings and renovations across our network.”

This United Club features a collaboration with The Newark Museum of Art and Gallery Aferro, showcasing two murals by local artists. Gilbert Hsiao’s entryway mural draws on Newark’s musical legacy and United’s history, using dots and circles to evoke abstract beats and the airline’s globe. Dahlia Elsayed’s mural within the lounge honors Arshile Gorky’s mid-20th-century EWR murals and incorporates imagery from both the built and natural environments of the region.
The Newark United Club combines generous seating, modern amenities, thoughtfully curated art, and sustainable design to create a welcoming airport retreat. For details on the United Club network and membership options, visit united.com/unitedclub.
