For the third consecutive year, ANA Group has been awarded 5 stars by Skytrax, the respected global airline and airport review organization.
This recognition highlights ANA’s consistently high standards across every phase of the travel experience — from airport facilities and lounges to onboard service. It also reflects the airline’s recent enhancements aimed at serving a growing international customer base. Key improvements include:
- The opening of DINING h, a restaurant located inside the ANA Suite Lounge at Haneda Airport’s international terminal. This marks ANA’s first dedicated restaurant dining service within an airport lounge in Japan.
- An expanded in-flight entertainment offering: by December 2014, ANA provided over 300 entertainment channels (movies, audio and more), more than any other Japanese carrier, with content in multiple languages.
- The addition of four new members — including two international chefs — to The Connoisseurs team, broadening the variety and quality of in-flight meal options.
- New collaborations with well-known hotels to develop in-flight menus for flights arriving in Japan from overseas airports, raising the standard of meals served on international sectors.
- The “Tastes of JAPAN by ANA” program, which brings regional specialties from 17 prefectures into in-flight menus and lounge dining, showcasing local Japanese cuisine.
- Enhanced staff training and service adjustments designed to better meet passenger needs and expectations.
- English language training provided to all ANA cabin attendants to improve communication with international travelers.
These ongoing initiatives demonstrate ANA’s commitment to improving passenger comfort, dining, entertainment and multilingual service, reinforcing why the airline continues to receive top honors from industry evaluators like Skytrax.
