Get ready to celebrate Kentucky’s signature spirit at the 5th Annual Bourbon Classic, a weeklong immersive festival focused on bourbon. Running Feb. 28–March 4, the event blends education, tastings and entertainment, beginning with the Bourbon Classic TOP SHELF bourbon and culinary experience.
On March 3, the Bourbon Classic Cocktail & Culinary Challenge pairs master bartenders with celebrated chefs and a featured Bourbon Classic distillery to craft inspired small-plate and cocktail pairings. The festival’s final day, March 4, features four seminar-style classes with live demonstrations. Highlights include Bourbon Classic University, which covers bourbon cocktails, grilling with bourbon, food pairings, and a session dedicated to Women of Bourbon. Additional seminars include Up Close and Bourbon: Bourbon Masters Session and Bourbon Classic TASTE: The Ultimate Bourbon Experience, each designed for both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts.
All events are hosted at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. For convenient lodging a short walk from the venue, consider the 21c Museum Hotel, recognized for its distinctive combination of contemporary art and hospitality.
