Emirates Expands A380 Routes: New Destinations & Flight Updates

Emirates will celebrate 25 years of flights between Dubai International Airport and Kuwait International Airport by introducing Airbus A380 service on the route. Currently operating five daily flights, the airline will upgrade EK 857 and EK 858 to the A380 beginning July 16.

The A380 deployed on the Kuwait route will include 14 private first-class suites with shower spas and 76 business-class flat-bed seats, offering a significant enhancement in comfort and amenities for travelers. Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, divisional senior vice president of commercial operations at Emirates, thanked the State of Kuwait, the aviation authorities and Kuwait International Airport for their support over the past 25 years and for enabling the carrier to bring the A380 to Kuwait. He described the move as a great opportunity for passengers to experience the best of the Emirates fleet.

Emirates continues to expand its A380 network and currently operates 47 A380 aircraft serving destinations around the world.
