Fly Emirates from London Stansted to the Middle East with One-Stop Connections

Emirates launched daily flights between Dubai (DXB) and London Stansted (STN) on June 8, 2018, becoming the first Middle Eastern carrier to operate from the airport. Stansted’s proximity to the technology and pharmaceutical clusters around Cambridge and Peterborough makes it a popular choice for business travelers, particularly as the region attracts an increasing number of large companies. The airport’s catchment area is often compared to global innovation hubs such as Silicon Valley and San Francisco.

The route is flown daily using a three-class Boeing 777-300ER, configured with six first class seats, 42 business class seats and 306 economy seats. First class passengers enjoy Emirates’ new fully enclosed private suites.

Scheduled timings see departures from Dubai at 9:30 a.m., with arrivals at London Stansted at 2:10 p.m. Return flights depart Stansted at 9:20 p.m., arriving back in Dubai at 7:05 a.m. the following morning.

With the introduction of the Stansted service, Emirates increased its Dubai–London frequency to 10 daily flights, complementing its existing services to Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW).

“The introduction of the new London Stansted–Dubai service underscores our commitment to serve London, with operations soon to three different airports in the city. There is a clear demand for this service from both business and leisure travelers and we anticipate that this news will be warmly received both across our global network, as well as by the business community based in the Stansted catchment area. We look forward to facilitating even more tourism and commerce opportunities to and from London with these new air transport links, and to providing our customers with the award-winning Emirates experience,” said Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates.

Ken O’Toole, Chief Executive of London Stansted, added that the new service would support the UK economy by strengthening international connectivity and giving passengers greater choice and convenience for long-haul travel. He noted that Stansted has seen significant investment and growth since its acquisition by MAG in 2013, and expressed enthusiasm about working with Emirates as the airport progresses with the next phase of development of its network of destinations.
