Happier Feet: Simple Ways to Soothe Foot Pain and Boost Comfort

Boston is in full stride. To coincide with the 118th Boston Marathon, the spa at Mandarin Oriental, Boston is offering “Runners’ Revive,” a 50-minute massage designed to warm, soothe and restore fatigued legs and feet. The treatment uses targeted massage techniques to help flush lactic acid from sore muscles and revitalize the body. Mandarin Oriental’s signature Reflect massage oil—blended with ginger, black pepper, jasmine and juniper—helps relieve muscle tension and promotes recovery.

“Training for and running a marathon is demanding,” said Maria Shea, spa operations manager at Mandarin Oriental, Boston. “Having run a second marathon myself, I understand how crucial it is to allow the body to rest and recover before, during and after the race. Runners’ Revive is a focused treatment developed to support the body during the days and weeks following a marathon.”

The Runners’ Revive treatment is available through April 30 and is priced at $138 on weekdays and $150 on weekends.
