Air Canada will join an exclusive group of airlines serving six continents when it expands its network with several seasonal routes next summer.
Starting summer 2016, Air Canada rouge will launch new non-stop seasonal service, including the carrier’s first destination in Africa: Montreal (YUL) to Casablanca (CMN). Additional seasonal routes will connect Toronto (YYZ) with Prague (PRG), Budapest (BUD), Glasgow (GLA) and Warsaw (WAW), all new additions to Air Canada’s route map.
Seats for these seasonal routes are available now with special introductory round-trip fares from CAD$869 for travel before July 2016. All of the new services will be operated by Air Canada rouge, the airline’s leisure-focused brand, using 280-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft configured with premium and economy cabins.
These seasonal additions expand Air Canada’s summer network and provide more options for travelers seeking both leisure and cultural destinations across Europe and Africa. The Montreal–Casablanca route marks a notable expansion into new long-haul markets, while the Toronto connections to Prague, Budapest, Glasgow and Warsaw offer greater access to Central and Eastern Europe as well as the United Kingdom.
Passengers can book the introductory fares now, subject to availability and travel dates. Travelers interested in premium service or extra comfort can consider the premium cabin on rouge’s Boeing 767-300ER, while economy travelers will find a full range of services and amenities designed for longer-haul leisure flights.
