United Airlines Launches Luxury LAX Lounge Experience

United Airlines and The Private Suite have partnered to offer travelers access to a new private terminal at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Guests who purchase access receive a personalized, private experience that streamlines check-in and baggage handling. The service also provides private screenings by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers, reducing wait times and enhancing privacy for international and domestic travelers alike.

United customers using the private terminal are escorted across the tarmac in a BMW 7-Series sedan directly to their aircraft. Inside the terminal, they have access to a United-branded lounge featuring individual suites, private restrooms, a full bar and elevated food service. The lounge environment is designed for comfort and discretion, catering to travelers who value convenience and premium amenities.

Inclusion of Private Suite access varies by fare: some business-class tickets will include the service. Initially, bookings are available through select corporate travel desks and travel agents; the offering will later be purchasable on united.com and via the United mobile app as an add-on to premium-cabin fares.

“We are excited to offer this new experience for our customers who are seeking additional efficiency, comfort, privacy and the ultimate service during their travels,” said Janet Lamkin, president, California, United Airlines. “The partnership with The Private Suite affords our customers the opportunity to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience that makes travel through LAX best in class. As California’s global airline, our customers expect the best and United is delivering on that promise.”
