Arrival/Check-in: Two girlfriends and I escaped to Palm Beach for a weekend getaway. After an early morning flight we arrived at Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) ready to unwind. The hotel had arranged car service, and our driver was waiting in baggage claim. Within minutes we were on the road; the short drive passed quickly as the driver shared local tips and answered our questions. When we pulled up to The Brazilian Court, the bell staff greeted us warmly. The staff throughout the property were consistently professional and personable, always ready to assist. After a smooth check-in we were escorted to our suite. (29/30)
Guest Quarters: Our suite was beautiful and thoughtfully appointed. Double doors opened into a hallway that led to a spacious living area on the right, furnished with comfortable sofas, a television, a dining table, a desk and a wet bar. Off the living room was a bedroom with a generous bed, walk-in closet, a plush chair and a large bathroom featuring both a tub and a stall shower, dual sinks, ample counter space and Frederic Fekkai amenities. A powder room was also accessible from the living room. To the left of the entrance sat a second bedroom that mirrored the first in comfort, with its own wet bar and a slightly smaller bathroom. The suite’s décor felt elegant and warm—more classic than beachy—reflecting the personal taste of the owners, who furnished it with high-quality pieces sourced worldwide. The only disruption was a fire alarm that sounded twice due to a technical glitch. (28/30)
Services/Amenities: We spent a day by the hotel pool, enjoying attentive food and beverage service while working on our tans and sipping caipirinhas. The inner courtyard offered a tranquil spot for conversation and relaxation. We dined at Café Boulud—part of Chef Daniel Boulud’s collection—and enjoyed both dinner and brunch without issue. Frederic Fekkai runs the on-site spa and salon, which adds a pampering option on property. The hotel’s beach Jeep transported us to the shore and provided chairs, sunscreen, bottled water, towels and magazines at no extra charge, which made a beach day effortless. (40/40)
The Experience: We came seeking relaxation and found it in abundance. Located steps from shopping and dining, The Brazilian Court feels like a secluded, luxurious retreat within Palm Beach.
