Delta Air Lines Announces New Route: Flights From Atlanta to Lisbon

Delta Air Lines is launching direct, non-stop service connecting Central Florida with Western Europe and beyond by introducing flights between Orlando International Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Beginning March 30, 2018, the route will operate on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft configured with Delta One, Delta Comfort+ and main cabin seating. Every seat includes onboard Wi-Fi, a personal seatback entertainment screen and power outlets. Complimentary meals and beverages are provided in all cabins.

“This new flight will be the only daily nonstop service between Orlando and Amsterdam, improving access between these cities,” said Dwight James, senior vice president, trans-Atlantic, Delta Air Lines. “We’re not only making it easier for travelers to reach Florida’s major attractions, but our partnerships with Air France, KLM and Alitalia also simplify connections throughout Europe via our Amsterdam hub.”

The schedule operates with flight DL126 departing Orlando at 9:45 p.m. and arriving in Amsterdam at 12:45 p.m. the following day. The return flight, DL127, departs Amsterdam at 1:15 p.m. and arrives in Orlando at 5:41 p.m.

Delta’s Orlando operation offers an average of 55 daily departures to domestic and international destinations, including São Paulo (GRU), Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Cincinnati (CVG), Detroit (DTW), Indianapolis (IND), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), Minneapolis–St. Paul (MSP), New York (JFK), Salt Lake City (SLC), Seattle (SEA) and Raleigh–Durham (RDU). Partner carriers expand the network further: Virgin Atlantic provides non-stop service from Glasgow (GLA), London Gatwick (LGW) and Manchester (MAN), while Aeroméxico serves Mexico City (MEX).
